Laj is a Florida based producer with roots that trace back to Haiti, bringing real life experience and cultural influence into his sound. Currently based in Palm Bay and originally from Pompano Beach, Laj’s journey reflects resilience, growth, and deep family ties.
He spent part of his childhood living in Haiti before relocating after the 2010 earthquake, later being raised in Pompano Beach before moving to Palm Bay in 2018.Music has always been part of Laj’s environment, with many of his family members actively involved in music, naturally pulling him into the craft. That foundation shaped his approach to production, allowing him to create records that feel authentic, emotional, and grounded in real experiences.
Influenced by artists like Kodak Black, Laj draws inspiration from music that represents where he’s from and speaks directly to his reality. As part of the 45 Records producer roster, Laj continues to develop a sound rooted in authenticity, culture, and raw expression.
